We are seeking a Corporate Lawyer with a corporate background to handle a variety of legal matters related to our business. The ideal candidate will have expertise in internal investigations, contract negotiations, tax disputes, labor disputes, and compliance issues. This non-managerial position is essential for supporting our legal team and ensuring adherence to legal standards across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct internal investigations on compliance issues and employee misconduct, providing detailed reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate to resolve legal cases, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and standards.
• Assist in managing tax disputes and appeals, collaborating with tax authorities to resolve issues and assess liabilities.
• Address labor disputes, including negotiations, grievances, and compliance with labor laws.
• Provide legal advice and support to various departments on corporate matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect the company's interests.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting the manufacturing and sales industry.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and provide legal training to staff.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver legal support and maintain clear communication.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies to ensure legal compliance.
• Review and analyze risk factors related to business operations and provide mitigation strategies.
• Participate in regulatory audits and investigations, providing legal guidance throughout the process.
• Represent the company in administrative hearings and other legal proceedings as required.
• Assist in advising on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and licensing agreements
• Monitor changes in legislation and assess their impact on company operations and compliance.
• Liaise with external legal counsel on complex legal issues and litigation strategies.
• Assist in drafting and implementing compliance programs to prevent legal violations and promote ethical conduct.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized Egyptian university. • Active license to practice law in Egypt. • 3-5 years of experience in corporate law, in manufacturing or sales sectors.• Familiarity with Egyptian labor laws, tax regulations, and commercial contracts.• Strong understanding of corporate governance, labor laws, and tax regulations.• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
