Assembly process Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical Process Engineer who will be actively involved in overseeing, improving, and optimizing processes on the production lines. 

The ideal candidate will not only apply their technical knowledge to improve mechanical systems but will also be engaged in physical activities on the floor, collaborating with production teams to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify inefficiencies in the production process and suggest or implement solutions to improve quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Follow up & Reduce Defects rate for line to achieve annual target and suggest solutions to avoid future problems.
  3. Prepare weekly reports for process meeting to ensure solving internal problems organize and collaborate
  4. Support machine and equipment upgrades to ensure optimal operation.
  5. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in real-time.
  6. Participate in hands-on troubleshooting, testing, and adjustments of mechanical equipment directly on the production line.
  7. Provide direct support during equipment breakdowns or issues that arise during manufacturing processes.
  8. Be on-site and involved in continuous monitoring, maintenance, and adjustments to ensure smooth production flow.
  9. Maintain clear and effective communication with production teams, quality control, and maintenance staff.
  10. Track and report on project timelines, ensuring that mechanical improvements and updates are implemented on schedule.
  11. Ensure that all mechanical processes on the production floor are in line with safety regulations.
  12. Work closely with the R&D team to support the development of new products and processes & provide technical input and feedback during the design and testing & implementation phases.
  13. Lead the validation process for new materials, ensuring they meet quality, performance, and safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly with hands-on involvement in process improvement and troubleshooting.Technical Skills: Solid understanding of mechanical systems, process optimization, and industrial equipment.- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel. Must be able to explain complex technical issues to team members and coordinate with cross-functional departments.Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems on the production line and implement efficient, practical solutions.Physical Capabilities: Ability to actively engage in physical tasks on the production floor, such as machine adjustments, and installations.Languages: perfect English skillsComputer Skills: -  Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office in mandatory - Power BI - power apps (is plus)- python (is plus)
