Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple casual dining restaurant outlets across Egypt. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for the food and beverage industry, and a deep understanding of customer service, team development, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of assigned restaurant branches to ensure high levels of performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance, labor costs, and food & beverage costs across locations to achieve financial targets.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, brand standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Lead, train, and motivate restaurant managers and staff to ensure efficient workflow and high team morale.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize operations and improve customer experience.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues swiftly and effectively.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene, quality, and service standards.
- Coordinate with supply chain and purchasing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of restaurant staff and managers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to make strategic business recommendations.
- Support the launch of new branches, including setup, staffing, and training.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 15-20 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Strong knowledge of the Egyptian food & beverage market, especially in the casual dining segment.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to travel frequently to oversee restaurant operations across different locations.Proficient in restaurant management systems, POS software, and Microsoft Office Suite.Fluency in Arabic and good command of English is required.
