Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role plays a critical part in maintaining cash flow and supporting the financial health of the engineering supplies company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers promptly and accurately.
- Monitor incoming payments, apply cash receipts, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts receivable with general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Engage with customers regarding payment inquiries, outstanding invoices, and collections.
- Generate AR reports to track outstanding balances, aging, and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.4-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting roles, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
