Managing Director (Education, E-Commerce, or Fintech Background)

The Managing Director (MD) will lead ECC Group in achieving its long-term strategic objectives. The MD will be responsible for overseeing the academic, operational, and financial performance of the organization. This role requires balancing academic leadership with commercial growth, aligning ECC Group’s core values with its overall mission, and driving success across all areas of operation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

• Lead the execution of ECC Group’s strategic vision, ensuring alignment with the group’s goals of academic excellence and global impact.

• Develop and implement strategies to expand the organization’s reach and student base, leveraging industry partnerships, marketing, and program development.

• Identify and drive new business opportunities that contribute to ECC’s continued growth and success in the education sector.

• Position ECC Group as a leader in the education industry by staying ahead of market trends and ensuring that ECC’s offerings remain competitive and relevant.

Academic Excellence & Program Development

• Oversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of academic programs to ensure they meet global standards and align with ECC’s commitment to high-quality education.

• Lead the development of new, innovative programs that cater to the evolving needs of students and the job market.

• Collaborate with academic leaders to maintain high student retention rates and academic performance, ensuring that ECC’s educational offerings continue to meet the highest standards.

• Foster a culture of academic innovation that supports student success and enhances ECC’s reputation for delivering impactful education.

Operational Efficiency & Resource Management

• Streamline operational processes across academic and administrative departments, focusing on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing the student experience.

• Ensure that ECC Group’s financial resources are allocated effectively, balancing investment in new initiatives with the need for operational sustainability.

• Use technology and innovation to enhance operational performance and improve the learning environment for students and staff alike.

Team Leadership & Development

• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within ECC Group, empowering staff and leaders to achieve their full potential.

• Provide mentorship and support to department heads and senior leadership, helping to develop leadership capabilities within the organization.

• Set clear goals and objectives for the team, ensuring that they align with ECC’s mission and strategic priorities.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure ECC Group meets all regulatory and accreditation requirements, upholding the group’s reputation for academic integrity and excellence.

• Oversee quality assurance processes that guarantee the continuous improvement of academic offerings, student satisfaction, and operational performance.

• Establish systems to assess and improve the quality of education, ensuring that ECC remains at the forefront of the education industry.


Academic & Professional Background:• Master’s or Doctorate in Business, Education, or a related field.• Extensive leadership experience in the education sector, with a strong understanding of both academic and operational management.• Proven success in scaling organizations, managing teams, and leading complex projects in education or a related field.• Preferred Service Sector, Education E-Commerce, or Fintech Background.
