Sales Manager position for Datacom networking

11. At least 5 years of experience in a similar sales position, ideally with a focus on      telecommunications or IT.

12. Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optics components.

13. Knowledge of the latest developments and trends in networking technology, including switching and routing protocols.

14. Familiarity with Egyptian laws and regulations related to sales and distribution.

15. Strong knowledge of the local market, including competitors and potential customers.

16. Knowledge of the local market dynamics and trends, including customer preferences and competition.

17. Understanding of local business customs and practices.

18. Familiarity with Egyptian laws and regulations related to sales and distribution.

19. Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic and English.

20. Ability to travel and conduct business meetings within the country.

21. Knowledge of the latest developments and trends in networking technology, including switching and routing protocols.

22. Understanding of the different types of CCTV cameras and their features.

23. Ability to assess customer needs and recommend the most appropriate solution for their requirements.

24. Knowledge of security and surveillance systems and how they integrate with networking technology.

25. Ability to understand customer requirements and provide technical support during the sales process.

26. Knowledge of switching and routing protocols: This means understanding how data is transferred between networked devices, and how to configure the equipment to ensure optimal performance.

27. Understanding of CCTV camera types: This means being familiar with the different types of CCTV cameras available, such as analog, IP, PTZ, dome, and bullet cameras, and their features.

28. Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optics components: Understanding of the products offered by the company and their features, such as connectors, patch panels, and cable management systems.

29. Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and management.

30. Strong negotiation abilities: Ability to negotiate terms and prices with customers while maintaining a positive relationship.

31. For this position, experience in datacenters is beneficial as the sales manager will be selling structured cabling and fiber optics components that are commonly used in datacenter environments. This includes understanding the requirements of datacenter infrastructure, such as high-speed connectivity, redundancy, and scalability. The sales manager should also be familiar with common datacenter components, such as racks, switches, and servers.
