Job Title: Account Product Manager – Sports Nutrition Products
Job Summary:
The Account Product Manager for sports nutrition products is responsible for managing key accounts, overseeing product lifecycle, and driving sales growth through strategic planning and execution. This role involves working closely with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to ensure product success in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail and distribution partners.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximize profitability.
Product Management:
• Oversee the lifecycle of sports nutrition products, from development to market launch.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to align product development with market trends and customer needs.
• Conduct competitive analysis to optimize product positioning and pricing.
Sales & Marketing Collaboration:
• Work with the sales team to create strategies that drive revenue and market share.
• Support marketing initiatives, including promotional campaigns, digital marketing, and in-store activations.
• Provide training and product education to sales teams and retail partners.
Market Research & Analysis:
• Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities in the sports nutrition industry.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings.
• Use data-driven insights to refine sales and marketing strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nutrition, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in account management or product management, preferably in the sports nutrition or FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of sports nutrition trends and consumer behavior.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the sports nutrition industry.
