- Procurement Duties:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company objectives.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and continually scout for new suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and potential risks in the supply chain.
- Logistics Duties:
- Oversee the transportation and storage of goods to ensure timely delivery.
- Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast needs and manage inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement and logistics.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.Analytical and decision-making abilities.Knowledge of contract law and trade compliance regulations.Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (a Master's degree or certifications like CPM or CPSM can be advantageous).It is preferable to have experience in the electrical industries sector.Experience in shipping, customs clearance, and related government transactions(NAVZA).
