Role Overview
We are seeking a Legal Partner to oversee corporate legal affairs, provide expert legal counsel to the CEO and board, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations. This role involves contract negotiation, risk management, dispute resolution, and legal due diligence for business expansion, including mergers and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Legal Advisory & Compliance
Provide strategic legal counsel to the CEO, executive team, and board members.
Develop and oversee legal policies, ensuring compliance with Egyptian and Gulf laws.
Represent ECC Group in legal proceedings, regulatory matters, and high-level negotiations.
Contract Management & Negotiation
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and memorandums of understanding (MOUs).
Ensure agreements protect the company’s legal and financial interests.
Mitigate contractual risks and handle dispute resolution efficiently.
Risk Management & Dispute Resolution
Identify potential legal risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Lead dispute resolution efforts, including litigation, arbitration, and compliance investigations.
Ensure corporate adherence to legal best practices and regulatory frameworks.
Mergers, Acquisitions & Business Expansion
Conduct legal due diligence for M&A activities, joint ventures, and corporate investments.
Advise on business expansion strategies and intellectual property protection.
Structure deals to align with legal and financial objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement & External Representation
Maintain strong relationships with law firms, regulators, and government authorities.
Represent ECC Group in legal conferences, hearings, and regulatory discussions.
Legal Team Management & Development
Lead and mentor the internal legal team and external legal advisors.
Implement training programs on legal and compliance matters for employees.
Essential Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s in Law (LL.B.), Master’s (LL.M.) preferred, specializing in corporate or business law.Experience: Minimum 6+ years in corporate law, legal advisory, or compliance, with a strong track record in high-level contract negotiation and litigation.Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Egyptian and Gulf corporate laws, dispute resolution, and compliance best practices. Experience in M&A transactions, regulatory frameworks, and risk mitigation.Skills:️ Strong leadership and decision-making abilities in legal matters.️ Excellent contract negotiation and risk assessment skills.️ Ability to handle complex legal negotiations and litigation.Tools:Legal research databases, and contract management software.
