Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer Section Head is responsible for leading and overseeing mechanical engineering projects within a consulting firm. This role involves managing a team of engineers, providing technical expertise, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The position focuses on design, analysis, and consultancy services rather than on-site construction activities.
-BSC in Ain shams university or similar government universities. MSC or PMP is a plus. -Experience +12 years and specialized in power. -Previous experience in consultant’s office & background in construction. -Proven experience in mixed used buildings (Admin-Commercial-Medical) and ability to cooperate with various disciplines (Arch-Civil-Elec.). -Experience in (HVAC – Fire fighting – Plumbing systems- Chiller stations..etc) -Software used: AUTOCAD - M.S OFFICE - HAP - Duct sizing - Pipe Sizing- Elite and relevant software. -Ability to review and evaluate technical drawings and tender documents in a clear and understandable manner and create commentary reports for consultant and contractor. -Perform office visits to consultant’s office. -Ability to review contractor’s invoices and perform required site visits. -Experience in government amenities processes. -Analyze existing maintenance methods and implement processes to improve it. -Strong Communication and negotiation skills. -Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
