Job Summary:

The Senior Site and Technical Office Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our marble and granite projects, from shop drawing preparation to on-site installation. This role requires a strong understanding of marble and granite materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for marble and granite projects, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards and project requirements in all shop drawings.
• Manage and track project variations and change orders.
• Generate cutting lists, material take-offs, and fabrication details from shop drawings.
• Calculate material quantities and prepare bills of materials.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, and project manager to resolve design discrepancies and ensure accurate interpretation of specifications.
• Follow-up the installation on-site, ensuring adherence to shop drawings and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, daily logs, and as-built drawings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
