- Material and Quantity Take-offs: Calculates material quantities and prepares accurate material take-offs for procurement and cost control.
- Technical Documentation and Submittals: Prepares and manages technical submittals, material approvals, and other project-related documentation.
- Coordination and Communication: Liaises with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and resolve technical issues.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Ensures that all drawings and construction activities comply with relevant building codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Site Support and Problem Solving: Provides technical support to the construction site, resolves on-site technical challenges, and assists with site inspections.
- BOQ Creation and Pricing Review: Develops Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project drawings and specifications, and reviews pricing from contractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and accuracy.
Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from an accredited university.Professional Experience: Minimum of 2-7 years of proven experience in an architectural technical office environment.Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in producing detailed architectural drawings, BOQs, material take-offs, and technical submittals.Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant architectural software for design and documentation.Knowledge of Codes and Standards: Strong understanding of building codes, construction standards, and regulations.
