Summary:
The Customer Liaison Engineer is responsible for facilitating communication between clients and the engineering team, addressing customer inquiries, providing technical support, and ensuring that customer needs are met throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing technical inquiries and providing solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss project progress, gather feedback, and identify any issues.
- Assist in the development of product documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications.
- Provide training and support to customers on product usage and features.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and market trends.
- Analyze customer feedback and suggest improvements to products and services.
- Participate in product testing and validation processes to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and project developments.
- creating and leading cross functional teams tasked with analyzing and providing 8D reports to the customer
- utilize analytical tools such as Ishikawa ,5 whys and pareto charts in analysis.
Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics)Minimum 1 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role within an automotive manufacturing environment.Relevant certifications (like PMP, Six Sigma, or specific technical certifications) can be beneficial.Familiarity with relevant software, tools, and technologies used in the industry.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical clients.Strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management.Ability to adjust to changing client needs and technical challenges.Willingness to work collaboratively with engineers, and other departments.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
