Health & Safety Manager

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety programs, policies, and procedures that comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.

Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses for various projects to identify potential safety risks. Recommend and implement control measures to mitigate these risks.

Perform regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Document findings and follow up on corrective actions.

Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for employees, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure that all personnel are aware of safety protocols and are adequately trained to perform their tasks safely.

Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses. Determine root causes, prepare detailed reports, and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Ensure that all projects and operations comply with applicable health and safety regulations. Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry standards and incorporate them into company practices.

Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various projects. Conduct drills and ensure that all employees are familiar with emergency procedures.

Prepare and present health and safety reports to management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training sessions, and compliance activities.

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate safety into all aspects of project planning and execution. Foster a culture of safety across the organization.

Monitor the effectiveness of health and safety programs and initiatives. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance safety performance.
