The Senior Consultant acts as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and ensuring successful project delivery.
This role often involves mentoring junior consultants and contributing to practice development.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the design and architecture of financial solutions within the ERP system, considering best practices and client-specific requirements. This includes creating detailed solution blueprints and leading design workshops.
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Lead complex requirements gathering sessions, including process mapping and gap analysis, to understand clients' current financial processes, pain points, and future needs.
- Configuration & Customization: Independently configure and customize the ERP system's financial modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Management, Treasury) to meet complex business requirements.
- Project Leadership: Lead workstreams or small to medium-sized projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader. Proactively identify and address client concerns.
- Pre-Sales Support: Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and estimation.
- Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior consultants, sharing knowledge and best practices. Contribute to the development of internal training materials and knowledge base.
- Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date on ERP best practices, industry trends in finance, and new ERP features. Contribute to thought leadership activities, such as publishing articles or presenting at conferences.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of deliverables by reviewing work products and providing feedback to team members.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth within existing clients and new prospects.
Qualifications & Soft Skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or CPA is a plus. 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with significant experience in ERP implementations. Deep understanding of financial accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and financial processes. Extensive experience with at least one major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite). Deep module expertise is essential. Preferred Working in MS Dynamics Products “Business Central / Finance & Operation”.Proven ability to lead complex ERP implementations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Consulting experience is required. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, ERP certifications) are plus
