Senior Sales Engineer

  • Identifying prospective clients.
  • Planning sales visits.
  • Presenting formwork and scaffolding system services (rental or project-based) supported by catalogs and previous experience.
  • Securing contracts (for rental services, formwork installation projects, or scaffolding projects).
  • Analyzing the project (and its designs) to determine its requirements for formwork and/or scaffolding systems.
  • Providing guidance in preparing the initial designs for formwork and/or scaffolding systems.
  • Participating in the preparation of quantitative bill of quantities for project bids.
  • Assisting in selecting the most economically viable formwork and/or scaffolding systems for the project and exploring alternative options within available budgets.
  • Reviewing the shop drawings for formwork and/or scaffolding systems.
  • Evaluating the preparation of the project's Method of Statement.
  • Reviewing the comprehensive technical proposal.
  • Reviewing the comprehensive financial proposal.
  • Coordinating with design engineers and collaborating with them during the preparation of the technical and financial proposals.
  • Overseeing contract execution, delivery, and returns.
  • Monitoring invoices (and payment certificates) and managing collection processes.
  • Supporting initiatives to enhance the company’s brand image among its clients.
  • Supervising the preparation, development, and management of an effective and efficient system for technical and administrative reports within the department.

QualificationBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university – preferably with a graduation project focused on either steel or reinforced concrete structures.ExperienceAt least 5–7 years of relevant work experience.Training CoursesA course in NegotiationA course in the Sales ProcessPersonal SkillsStrong communication skillsExcellent sales abilities
