- Develop and implement training programs for staff on quality and food safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and internal audits across locations and suppliers.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food safety and hygiene.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and industry standards,
- ensuring certification requirements are met.
- Oversee corrective action plans to address quality concerns and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead external audits and manage relationships with certification bodies.
- Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
- Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
- Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.
