1. Strategic Planning & Market Research

  • Identify potential development opportunities in residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality sectors.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and competitive market analysis.
  • Develop long-term investment strategies aligned with company goals and market demand.

2. Site Selection & Land Acquisition

  • Evaluate potential land or property acquisitions for development.
  • Negotiate land purchase agreements and work with legal teams to ensure compliance.
  • Secure zoning approvals, permits, and government incentives where applicable.

3. Project Development & Execution

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from concept design to construction completion.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize design and construction.
  • Ensure project completion on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards.

4. Financial Oversight & Investment Analysis

  • Prepare and analyze financial models, proformas, and ROI calculations.
  • Manage project budgets, financing strategies, and funding sources (e.g., investors, bank loans, joint ventures).
  • Monitor financial performance and make adjustments to maximize profitability.

5. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage legal processes, contracts, and permits required for development.
  • Mitigate risks related to construction, financial exposure, and regulatory hurdles.

6. Stakeholder & Team Coordination

  • Manage relationships with government agencies, investors, real estate brokers, and legal teams.
  • Lead internal teams across departments, including sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Negotiate agreements with vendors, contractors, and service providers.

7. Marketing & Leasing Strategy

  • Work with sales and leasing teams to develop pre-sales, leasing, and marketing strategies.
  • Align development projects with market demand and buyer/investor expectations.
  • Optimize project branding and positioning for maximum revenue generation.

Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business Administration, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field (MBA or master’s in real estate preferred).10+ years of experience in real estate development, with a proven track record in one or more asset classes.Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, or hospitality real estate development.Strong background in project finance, investment analysis, and risk assessment.✅ Core Skills & Competencies:Expertise in real estate financial modeling, budgeting, and proforma analysis.Strong knowledge of zoning laws, land-use regulations, and entitlement processes.Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.✅ Industry-Specific Knowledge (for Different Real Estate Types):Residential Development: Knowledge of housing markets, multi-family development, and buyer preferences.Commercial Development: Experience in office spaces, retail centers, and tenant leasing strategies.Industrial Development: Understanding of logistics, warehouse facilities, and supply chain needs.Mixed-Use Development: Ability to integrate residential, retail, and office spaces into a cohesive project.Hospitality Development: Experience in hotel and resort development, brand partnerships, and operational management.
