- Manage Technical Functions and staff coverage including technical emails, live chat, and phone services.
- Manage departmental Microsoft Dynamics Process.
- Oversee all Paint technical documents including; TDS, MSDS & warranty.
- Ensure that all requirements for New Product Commercialization are completed fully and expeditiously to successfully launch all new products.
- Define and develop data needed for the preparation of marketing literature and other sales tools for the introduction and promotion of new products.
- Provide customer assistance on Automotive Paints technical issues as requested by Customers
- Prepare and present technical presentations for use with customers and at industry forums, trade shows and symposia.
- Resolve issues related to customer field quality complaints or claims.
- Support QA with assistance on test methods and establishment of product quality standards.
- Provide the staff onsite testing in accordance with the paint specifications and standards to ensure the quality of the finish and application.
- Oversee process for color approval and development with the customer.
- Analyze product complaints and coordinate with QC lab, production, etc. to take appropriate steps to avoid future repetitions of similar complaints.
- Prepare Technical Reports for the staff in charge of area of responsibility.
- Prepare, distribute information and present technical seminars regarding Company products to agents, distributors, new employees, and customers so that they understand the features, advantages and benefits of Company products.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Science chemistry is required.Prior technical service especially for ED & Automotive OEM paint is preferred.Demonstrated leadership experience.Strong knowledge and experience at least 10:12 years of Automotive OEM paints, Industrial and Refinish paintsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with MS Office Suite is requiredHolding a car is a must.
