About the Role
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of chemical raw materials within the Plastics, Rubber, and Cables industries. This role requires a strategic approach to customer relationship management, business development, and market expansion.
As a key representative of REDA Chemicals, the Sales Manager plays a critical role in communicating the company's values and enhancing its market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients in the Plastics, Rubber, and Cables sectors, acting as a trusted advisor to address their unique needs.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand the customer base and diversify the product portfolio, driving sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and technical support, to ensure exceptional customer service and seamless order fulfillment.
- Stay updated of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities, translating insights into actionable strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and reports to track performance and inform decision-making.
- Lead sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions, demonstrating in-depth product knowledge and value propositions.
- Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the client experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all business dealings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven sales experience in chemical raw materials, specifically within the Plastics, Rubber, or Cables industries.
- Strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly proactive, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
