Main Duties:
- Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with engineering, production and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (PPAP).
- Monitor and analysis process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in process engineering technologies, methodologies and best practices.
- Manufacturing process design & layout.
- Manufacturing process monitoring and measurement “process efficiency, productivity, process capability”
- Performing corrective actions based on the process measurements for improving the different processes performance.
- Preparing work instructions for manufacturing processes to assure highest processes performance.
- Preparing production schedules based on the factory planning for different products.
- Monitoring the production deviations from schedule and perform the root cause analysis.
QualificationBachelor’s degree in Engineering Lean Six Sigma Certified (plus)Experience:5 to 7 years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment (Automotive feeding industry preferred).process improvement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping and layout optimizing.Proficient in process analysis, process modelling, process capability, statistical analysis and Capacity calculation.Knowledge:Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis.Solid understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO standards 9001.Skills:Excellent communication skills for preparing detailed reports and interacting with suppliers and customers.Very good command "MS Office”Strong command of English languageComputer-aided design (CAD) tools (Solid works, NX, etc.).
