· Responsible for providing financial advice and support to the organization to enable them to make sound decisions.
· Support the CFO in development, implementation and monitoring of policies & procedure and infrastructure frame work.
· Managing financial accounting, financial management, and annual budget process, monitoring and reporting systems for the country.
· Review the Internal Control mechanisms are in place which shall minimize financial risk.
· Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
· Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring and yearly audits are carried out.
· Developing the feasibilities of new upcoming project in the organization.
· Support the CFO in Implementation of the ERP for the organization.
· Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, bankers and investors.
· Liaison with the financing agencies and ensuring the compliance of their program implementation, in coordination with CFO.
· Provide relevant information as and when required by the senior management.
· Prepare relevant information for internal and external stakeholders with respect to programs and accounts.
· Any other tasks as maybe assigned by the supervisor(s).
· Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance or Chartered or Public Accountant designation.· At least 5 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting. A minimum of two years must be in the management role.· Good verbal and written communication skills.· Proficiency with financial software, excellent knowledge of Excel.· Demonstrated track record of supervising finance staff.· Proficiency in written and spoken English
