Role Objectives:

The People Relations Specialist is responsible for conducting thorough investigations across various sectors, including criminal justice, corporate compliance, and regulatory affairs. This role involves gathering evidence, analyzing information, and providing insights to support decision-making processes and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Investigations: Perform comprehensive investigations into incidents, allegations, or compliance issues, utilizing various methods such as interviews, surveillance, and data analysis.
  • Evidence Collection: Gather and document evidence in a legally acceptable manner, ensuring that all findings are accurate and relevant to the investigation.
  • Report Writing: Prepare detailed reports summarizing investigation findings, methodologies used, and recommendations for action. Present findings to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with law enforcement agencies, legal teams, and other relevant parties to facilitate investigations and ensure proper handling of evidence.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and information from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and potential areas of concern that may require further investigation.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that investigations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Stay updated on changes in legislation that may impact investigative practices.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and support to junior investigators or staff on investigative techniques, compliance issues, and best practices.


 

 


Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, forensic science, or a related field.A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investigative roles, preferably in law enforcement, corporate security, or compliance.Strong knowledge of investigative techniques, legal standards, and relevant regulations.Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings and recommendations.Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously gather and analyze information to ensure accuracy in investigations.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during investigations.Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with investigative tools and software, as well as data analysis techniques.
