Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Service Sales Engineer to specialize in Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) retrofit and installation services. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to develop service-oriented business opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and maintain strong client relationships. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying customer needs and ensuring satisfaction in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Execution
- Identify and develop sales opportunities for LV/MV retrofits, upgrades, and installation services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industrial clients, consultants, contractors, and utilities.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the growth of the service portfolio.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimates and project scopes.
2. Technical Consultation
- Understand customer requirements for retrofits, installations, and system upgrades, providing expert advice and customized solutions.
- Conduct site visits, system assessments, and technical evaluations to ensure proper solution alignment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design solutions that meet regulatory, technical, and safety standards.
3. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, project management, and service delivery) to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee timelines, budgets, and client expectations for retrofit and installation projects.
- Act as a point of contact for customers, resolving issues and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
4. Market Insights
- Stay updated on market trends, industry regulations, and competitor activities in LV/MV services.
- Provide feedback to management and service teams for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Identify new product or service opportunities within the retrofit and installation segment.
5. Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, proposals, and customer interactions in CRM tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety protocols.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and updates to management.
Qualifications & SkillsEducationBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in sales or technical roles involving LV/MV electrical systems, retrofits, or installations.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, circuit breakers, protection relays, and control systems.Understanding of retrofit solutions, system upgrades, and installation practices.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficiency in CRM tools, sales software, and MS Office applications.Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address customer challenges.Key CompetenciesCustomer-focused mindset with the ability to deliver tailored solutions.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
