Electrical Engineer
- Design and draft electrical systems for fire fighting solutions using AutoCAD and LitFire.
- Prepare technical documentation and support the preparation of project proposals.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure system design meets project specifications and safety standards.
- Assist in reviewing and approving electrical components for projects.
- Conduct site surveys and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with contractors and clients to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to timelines.
- ● Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
- ● Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
- ● Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems
- ● Summarize data and report on test results
- ● Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets
- ● Monitor maintenance and inspection plans
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and designing electrical layouts, schematics, and diagrams.Experience with Elite Fire software or similar fire fighting system design software.Ability to design, implement, and modify electrical systems for fire protection and safety applications.In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards related to fire fighting systems.Experience in preparing technical submittals, bill of materials (BOM), and shop drawings.Familiarity with fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and related electrical installations.
