The Franchise Development Manager is responsible for driving the expansion of Digital School by Berlitz by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new franchisees. This role will focus on developing and implementing sales strategies to attract potential franchisees, manage the franchise sales process, and ensure successful partnerships. The Franchise Development Manager will work closely with the leadership team to achieve the franchise development goals, ensuring that all franchisees align with Digital School by Berlitz’s brand standards and educational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchise Sales:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to recruit potential franchisees across various regions.
- Manage the entire franchise sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation and final contract signing.
- Identify new markets and assess their potential for franchise opportunities.
Lead Generation & Qualification:
- Generate leads through multiple channels including networking, events, referrals, and digital marketing.
- Qualify leads to ensure they meet the criteria for Digital School by Berlitz franchise ownership.
- Conduct presentations and meetings to showcase the franchise opportunity to potential partners.
Franchise Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring that prospective franchisees align with the brand’s educational philosophy and business model.
- Support new franchisees through the onboarding process, providing guidance and ensuring they are equipped to operate successfully.
- Facilitate training and support programs to help new franchisees launch their branches.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees to ensure long-term success and partnership.
- Serve as the main point of contact for franchise-related inquiries and provide ongoing support to existing franchisees.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during the onboarding process or throughout franchise operations.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and demographic data to identify prime locations for new franchises.
- Provide input to senior management on potential franchise expansion strategies based on market research and industry trends.
Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and track the performance of franchise sales efforts, including lead conversion rates, sales targets, and new franchisee success.
- Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to senior management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.5+ years of experience in franchise sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the education sector.Proven track record of successful franchise recruitment and sales.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to build relationships and maintain rapport with potential franchisees.Knowledge of franchise models, processes, and legal requirements.Experience in the education or technology sector is a plus.
