  • Manages vendor payments by preparing checks and resolving discrepancies.
  • Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Maintains historical records by filing documents.
  • Disburses petty cash by recording entry; verifying documentation.
  • Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices
  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports 
  • Researching and resolving account discrepancies.

  • Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, FinanceUnderstanding of real estate principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.  Awareness of tax implications related to real estate transactions. Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tableStrong attention to detail and good analytical skills
