- Effective Communication and Relationship-Building Expertise: Successful communication and relationship-building in enterprise environments.
- Pre-sales Expertise: At least five years experience in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or consulting roles to scope and demo solutions to clients.
- Technical Proficiency: Technical sales skills in software solutions for IT Service Management, AIOps, Automation, Data & AI, Enterprise Asset Management, Business Automation, Security, Machine Learning, and Virtualization technologies
- Presentation and Demonstration Skills: Install and Prepare live demonstrations and presentations of IBM and Red Hat Software Solutions
- As a subject matter expert in Red Hat and IBM’s Technology offerings and Brand solutions, you’ll bring depth in all products to lead and support technical engagements with partners and clients.
- You will drive the technical strategy and architecture alignment in high-value Ecosystem Sell / Build / Service sales opportunities.
- Advanced Solution Design and Enablement: Deepening technical engagements with partners and clients, leveraging Red Hat and IBM’s resources like Build Labs, Technical Sellers, and Customer Success Managers to co-create and deploy solutions tailored to client needs.
- Consultative Technical Sales Approach: Using technical expertise to guide our Sales Team through Red Hat and IBM’s technology portfolio, leading architecture discussions that showcase different solutions through detailed use cases, and influencing technical decision-making in large-scale implementations.
- Collaborative Solutioning and Sales Engineering Skills: Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, aligning with our Sales Team to drive the completion of complex, high-value technical sales cycles.
- Attention to Detail and System Usage: Proven discipline and attention to detail with the usage of sales management and recording systems, as well as efficient expectation setting and follow-up practices.
- Training and Certification on a wide set of Software Solutions and Technologies from IBM and Red Hat
