Job Purpose

• Managing End to End planning and support activities for Systems Operations (OSS and tools) and responsible for building the best practices  of Element manager systems and Tools to enhance operational performance and driving E2E service monitoring mind set

• Responsible for Early Detection function to proactively detect Network degradations

• MS Vendor Management

• End to End Operations and support activities for Network OSS &  Systems administration  Management

1. Manage the planning, delivery and support of all service management systems and Tools deployment

2. Responsible for managing Systems, OSS & tools for M/S team for all vendors

3. Interfacing with Access network planning & Core network planning for all OSS related issues

4. Handling major releases upgrades from initiation phase till successful implementation

5. Project manager for all Systems deployment projects

6. Systems administration tasks

7. Manage the System expansions projects

8. Managing contractual tools planning installation and operation a. OSS b. Temip c. GreenPlum d. Anritsu e. Ontology f. U2000 g. WFM h. BO

9. Integration of the tools and ensure that the needed role/features are fulfilled

10. Managing the OSS/ tools teams from different vendors

11. Lead transformation program to build E2E network performance management and service quality Management

12. Maintaining the in-house developed tools serving the Network management needs

13. Ensure proper integration for any new OSS system with other existing systems and tools

14. Ensure the needed adaptation is done for all Etisalat in-house with OSS systems after upgrades, expansions or new OSS systems

• Responsible for Early Detection function to proactively detect Network degradations

1. Use of available Etisalat tools and probing systems to develop early detection techniques

2. Develop algorithms for performance Early Detection using Etisalat probing tools

• Vendors Management

1. Manage the vendor's quality of the performance using statistical and analytical methods to ensure complying to set standards.

2. Performing bi-weekly audits to ensure that all OSS actions are correctly handled over all domains by MS teams
