ASSET is seeking a dynamic, motivated, results-driven and skilled sales engineer to manage and grow the sales of instruments and monitoring/ protection systems within the Egyptian market. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with sales expertise to support clients in industries such as O&G, Manufacturing, and Utilities.
Key Responsibilities Sales and Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in flow metering and analyzer solutions.
- Identify and engage in new business opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and expand the client base within the instrumentation industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and present proposals tailored to customer needs.
Technical Expertise
- Provide in-depth technical consultations and demonstrations of flowmeter and analyzer systems to prospective clients.
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate instrumentation solutions for their specific requirements, ensuring technical accuracy and value alignment.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in flow measurement and analyzers.
Project Involvement
- Collaborate with project teams to support the successful implementation of instrumentation solutions in large-scale projects.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to address project-specific challenges and ensure timely delivery.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, providing exceptional after-sales support.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress.
Market Research and Strategy
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs within the instrumentation sector.
- Provide feedback to the product development team to align ASSET’s offerings with market demands.
- Monitor market trends and identify business opportunities within the Egyptian market.
- Gather competitive intelligence to support strategic sales planning.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, accurate sales forecasts, and requested activity reports.
- Proven ability to use enterprise systems ERP / CRM.
Qualifications and SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Instrumentation, Electronics, Process, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on flowmeters and analyzers.Hands-on experience in instrumentation and flow measurement is essential.Experience in large-scale industrial projects is a considerable plus.Technical Skills:Proficiency in flow measurement principles and analyzer technologies.Knowledge of industrial sectors such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, and power is highly advantageous.Familiarity with CRM tools and sales forecasting.Soft Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Results-driven mindset with excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.Effective time management and organizational skills.
