- Manage and maintain project documentation within a Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring data integrity and access control.
- Implement and enforce document management protocols aligned with ISO 19650 or other relevant standards.
- Organize, classify, and track project documents using recognized classification systems (e.g., Uniclass, OmniClass).
- Ensure all BIM-related documents meet project requirements, industry standards, and organizational protocols.
- Oversee and enforce the correct use of naming conventions for all project documentation and files.
- Facilitate data exchange between project stakeholders, ensuring proper file naming conventions and metadata.
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with documentation workflows and standards.
- Collaborate with BIM Managers and coordinators to integrate document control processes within BIM workflows.
- Provide training and support to project teams on document management tools and processes.
Maintain records of revisions, approvals, and other document changes for audit and traceability purposes
QualificationsEssential:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.Proven experience in document control for BIM-based projects.In-depth knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360 and Aconex).Good understanding of classification systems (e.g., Uniclass, OmniClass, MasterFormat).Familiarity with BIM standards such as ISO 19650, PAS 1192, or equivalent.Proficiency in document management tools like SharePoint, Procore, or similar.Strong understanding of naming conventions and metadata structures in BIM workflows.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Preferred:Certification in BIM or document management.Knowledge of coding or scripting for automation in document workflows (e.g., Power Automate).
