Private Banking Advisor

A private banking Advisor is required to play the key role in attracting new to bank private banking customers, increase AUMs, revenues and efficiently manage profitability. Deliver personalized financial solutions and building a long term relation with high net worth clients contributing to the growth of the private banking business



About the Role



  • Client Relationship - Building and maintaining strong relationships with high net worth clients to understand their financial goals, investment preferences and risk appetite. Acting as a trusted advisor, providing the highest level of personalized service to meet clients’ expectations
  • Portfolio Management - Developing and implementing investment strategies that align with clients’ goals and risk profiles. Performing regular financial reviews and making investment recommendations to optimize clients’ investment portfolios
  • Business Development - Identifying and acquiring new clients through networking, referrals and targeted marketing activities. Collaborating with internal teams to leverage cross selling opportunities and expand the bank’s private banking business
  • Financial Planning - Conducting comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow management, estate planning and risk management. Providing tailored financial plans to help clients achieve their long term financial objectives
  • Market Research and Analysis - Keeping up to date with market trends, economic news and industry development to provide timely market insights and investment recommendation to clients. Conducting thorough research on investment products, assets classes and investment opportunities
  • Compliance and Risk Management - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate potential risks. Conducting due diligence on clients’ accounts and investment opportunities to evaluate risks and ensure suitability
  • Financial KPIs - Grow customer base by attracting new customers. Grow AUMs including investments, deposits and other financial products. Maintain positive net new money (NNM) by attracting fresh funds either from existing or new clients. Responsible for generating revenue for the bank through various products and services offered to clients. Including but not limited to investment fees, transactional activities fees etc… Effectively manage clients’ portfolio profitability by maximizing profitability and being cost effective. Achieving revenue targets including revenue growth, AUMs growth, and profitability including number and value of investment products. Increase Cross selling and product penetration by deeply understanding clients’ financial needs and offer them suitable product and services
  • Team Collaboration - Collaborating with internal teams such as wealth advisors, investment advisors, product specialists and operations teams, to deliver holistic financial solutions and services to clients



Qualifications - Education details


-A bachelor degree or more (preferably MBA) in Finance, economics or a related field

Certified Financial Planner or Certified Financial Analyst or Certified Investment Management Analyst

-Solid and proven knowledge of Financial markets and investment instruments and trading strategies

-Proven 7 years in branches preferably out of which 4-5 years’ experience in private banking or wealth management with focus on high net worth clients

-Solid Financial analysis skills conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluating investment opportunities with experience in assessing risks and returns profiles of various investment options
