1. Import process management • Develop and execute a merchandise import plan to ensure that goods arrive on time. • Liaise with international suppliers or exporters to track the status of your order. • Arrange the transportation of goods (sea, air) and choose the right logistics company. • Supervise customs clearance and clearance processes to ensure compliance with Egyptian customs regulations. 2. Docking with logistics providers • Negotiate logistics terms, including invoice number, and delivery date. • Maintain long-term relationships with logistics providers to solve problems in the supply chain. 3. Compliance and Risk Management • Familiarity with Egypt's import laws, regulations, tax policies, and customs requirements. • Ensure that all import documents (e.g. invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.) are in order. • Monitors possible international trade policy changes and assesses the impact on the business. 4. Cost control and budgeting • Develop and manage import business budgets to optimize costs. • Review transportation, customs duties and other related costs to save money. 5. Communication and collaboration • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., end marketing, warehousing, finance, after-sales, etc.) to ensure smooth business processes. • Solve unexpected problems in the import process, such as logistics delays, damage to goods, etc. 6. Market analysis and reporting • Pay attention to market dynamics and analyze price trends and supply chain risks of imported goods. • Submit reports and suggestions for improvement of import operations to superiors regularly. 7. Departmental team management • Clarify the common team goals, and carry out reasonable division of labor and work supervision for members • Plan the team evaluation criteria • Create a good working atmosphere


• Familiar with international trade processes and related documents. • Knowledge of Egypt's import policy, tariff structure, and international logistics. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Proficient in the use of relevant office software and ERP systems. • Fluent in English and Arabic. Experience working in the following industries is preferred: • Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) • Electronics • Raw materials and industrial equipment • Imports of agricultural and food products
