- Oversee accounting daily operations.
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll , treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity and taxes.
- Responsible for quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
- Hiring and training accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks.
- Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management.
- Maintaining the general ledger system
- Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses.
- Responsible for the compilation of information for preparation of tax returns
- Prepare monthly cash flow.
- Overseeing bank accounts and maintain good relations with key people in banks.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Not less than 10 years of experience as “Accounting Manager”.CMA Certification is an add on.SAP/ ERP User.own a car is a must.High level of communication and leadership skillsWell organized
