- Verification & supervision of all tests and tasks that are done by QC technician & support of the officer.
- Approval of the samples of R&D, technical support, sales, and any other concerned party.
- Conduct all the quality tests as per the SOP inside the laboratory.
- Document all lab activities and submit regular reports.
- Support the training of the new entrants & the current employees in the lab.
- Authorize the accepted batch ticket, communicate the quality result immediately to the production, and support quality troubleshooting.
- Prioritize the tests of products within the quality control laboratory based on their priority.
- Select the STD samples based on the batch number so that they are without change or modification, as well as match the results of the test product to the specification required.
- Continuous support in monitoring and participating in cost reduction activities (electricity - water - use of improvised - leftover samples, - leftover packing).
- Ensure full compliance with the instrument’s calibration calendar by regular follow-ups’ & highlighting the gaps to the QC Manager.
- Customer/supplier complaint verification, testing, and reporting. Supporting the QC Manager in the process.
- Color verification for the received catalogs (carpentry or External source), Color Lab, & other projects.
- Verify and test returned finished goods before re-using or reusing them for new batches or revalidation.
- Support the QC Manager during the visits of Certifying Bodies.
- Executes activities related to his or her function using safe and environmental methods.
Proven work experience as QC in the Manufacturing of paints ( WB & SB ). From 8+ years of experience. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry. Iso certified.Total quality management system.Has experience in managing instruments.Total quality management system.Adherence to company policy and regulations.Certified with Six Sigma.Skills: communication, planning, time management.
