Position: Purchasing Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Purchasing Manager with extensive experience in sourcing fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables and a strong network of trusted suppliers who can reliably meet our procurement needs on time while ensuring European quality standards. If you are passionate about managing an efficient supply chain and delivering top-quality products, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
✅ Develop and implement procurement strategies for fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables.
✅ Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
✅ Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms for the best value.
✅ Ensure suppliers comply with European export quality standards.
✅ Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
✅ Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management in the food industry.
✔ Expertise: In-depth knowledge of purchasing fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables.
✔ Network: A solid database of trusted suppliers capable of delivering on time and meeting European standards.
✔ Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
✔ Skills: Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills.

Job Requirements for Purchasing Manager – Fresh & Frozen Fruits and VegetablesEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the food industry, in fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.Expertise in sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.Familiarity with European export quality standards and compliance regulations.Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools.Core Competencies:Negotiation Skills: Ability to secure the best value while maintaining supplier relationships.Supplier Management: Build and manage a network of reliable suppliers locally and internationally.Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new sourcing opportunities.Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased products meet international quality and safety standards.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for effective supplier and team coordination.Personal Attributes:Results-driven and proactive.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Additional Requirements:Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when needed.Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
