Job Purpose:
To spearhead technology integration, enhance instructional practices, and support innovative initiatives across the curriculum in our school.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technology Integration and Support
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum in meaningful ways that support instructional goals.
- Provide training, resources, and ongoing support to help teachers effectively use digital tools and platforms.
- Develop strategies for blended learning, project-based learning, and other instructional models that enhance student engagement.
2. Curriculum Development and Innovation
- Work closely with department heads and curriculum coordinators to embed technology and innovation into subject areas.
- Develop, test, and refine new instructional practices that align with the school’s vision for modern learning.
- Assist in the selection and evaluation of educational technology tools, apps, and resources that enhance teaching and learning.
3. Professional Development and Teacher Support
- Design and deliver workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching to build teachers’ skills in integrating innovative practices.
- Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to teachers in using technology effectively and confidently.
- Lead professional learning communities (PLCs) focused on innovative teaching practices, data-driven instruction, and technology use.
4. Project Leadership and Change Management
- Lead school-wide initiatives that promote innovation, such as STEAM projects, digital citizenship programs, or makerspace activities.
- Act as a change leader, helping faculty and staff adopt new practices with minimal disruption to teaching and learning.
- Assess and monitor the impact of new initiatives and provide feedback to school leadership on outcomes and adjustments.
5. Data Analysis and Assessment
- Support teachers in using data analytics to track student progress, personalize learning, and measure the impact of instructional innovations.
- Collect, analyse, and share data on technology integration, student engagement, and other metrics to guide future initiatives.
- Create reports and presentations for school leaders to communicate successes, challenges, and areas for further development.
6. Collaboration and Community Building
- Serve as a liaison between technology, academic, and administrative departments to ensure cohesive and supportive initiatives.
- Work with parents and the wider school community to increase understanding of and support for innovative practices.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in education technology and innovation and share insights with the school community.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Educational Technology, or related field.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in teaching and/or educational technology integration.- Proficiency with digital tools, learning management systems, and instructional design software.- Relevant certifications in educational technology or instructional design preferred.
