Job Description
- Will lead the design operations of multiple projects while overseeing interaction and interface between multiple design stakeholders by being the project safe keeper.
- As the main point of contact with Clients, the responsibilities revolved around chairing meetings with all stakeholders and ensuring proper communication between all parties involved; Contracts and deliverables management, identifying effective strategy for the project, programme and design management, keeping the project task tracker up to date, conducting VE exercises and exploring creative solutions to achieve client targets in terms of delivery dates and budgets.
- Managed a significant number of design projects within the hospitality and private luxury homes for various Clients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant parties and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BEng) or Interior Design
- MID LEVEL - With 5 - 10 years experience of working within an consultancy in Egypt or Gulf area.
- Proven working experience as a design manager in architectural / engineering / Interior design consultancy
- Excellent Client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluent and confident in conducting meetings in English
