UI/UX Designer Responsibilities:

User Research:

• Conduct in-depth user research, including interviews, surveys, and data analysis, to gain valuable insights into user needs and pain points.
• Translate research findings into actionable design solutions that address user challenges.

Information Architecture:

• Design effective information architecture and navigation structures that ensure an intuitive and seamless user experience.
• Organize content and layout to optimize usability and enhance accessibility.

Wireframing & Prototyping:

• Create wireframes and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma and Miro to visually communicate user flows and interactions.
• Work through multiple design iterations to refine concepts and improve usability.

Visual Design:

• Design visually compelling user interfaces that align with Nano Health’s brand guidelines while elevating user engagement.
• Apply your expertise in visual design principles to deliver cohesive and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Interaction Design:

• Develop intuitive interfaces with engaging microinteractions, animations, and transitions to delight users and improve usability.

Usability Testing:

• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback, validate design decisions, and iterate on designs to optimize the user experience.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams—including developers, product managers, and stakeholders—to ensure designs are aligned with business goals.
• Present design concepts clearly and persuasively, explaining your rationale behind design decisions.

Accessibility:

• Apply accessibility best practices in your designs, ensuring our products are inclusive and meet accessibility standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of design skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Design Tools: Proficiency in UI tools like Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, and InVision. Familiarity with UX tools such as Figma, Miro, and Hotjar.
• Design Skills: Solid understanding and hands-on experience in user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with developers and product teams effectively.
• Accessibility Knowledge: Understanding of accessibility principles and the ability to design accessible user interfaces.
• Preferred Certifications: CPUXD, UXC, CXA, CUA, or ACE in Experience Design (or similar certifications).
• Personal Traits: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
