Indesign for Office & Hotel Furniture is seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Manager to oversee the production process of furniture and wooden and metal work items, including cladding, doors, ceilings, and other related products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, managing production teams, and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire production process for furniture and wooden and metal work items, including cladding, doors, ceilings, and other related products.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet client deadlines, specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage daily operations of the production department, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.
- Supervise and lead the production team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor production costs and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce waste in both wood and metal production.
- Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the design and technical teams to ensure that production aligns with project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics) to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Maintain accurate production records, including schedules, inventory, and quality control reports.
- Continuously assess and recommend improvements to the production process, equipment, and use of materials.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Applied Arts, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry, with expertise in both wooden and metal items.Experience in managing teams and ensuring productivity in a high-paced environment.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of furniture production processes, including materials, machinery, and assembly techniques for both wooden and metal items.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with production management software and ERP systems is a plus.Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software is advantageous.Soft Skills:Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Strong communication skills to coordinate with various departments.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
