We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics & Scaffolding Manager to oversee all scaffolding operations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of scaffolding systems, safety standards, and project management, ensuring that scaffolding is installed, maintained, and dismantled according to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Project Oversight: Manage scaffolding operations on construction projects, ensuring all scaffolding installations, modifications, and dismantling are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and lead a team of scaffolders, ensuring effective communication, teamwork, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all scaffolding activities comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), conducting regular safety audits and inspections.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of scaffolding work to ensure that it meets engineering specifications and project requirements.
- Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with the project manager to plan scaffolding needs, including determining the scope, timeline, and manpower requirements for each phase of the project.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related field).Experience: At least 15 years of experience in scaffolding, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of scaffolding design and safety standards.Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various scaffolding systems (e.g., tube and clip, modular scaffolding, system scaffolding) and the ability to read and interpret scaffolding plans and blueprints.Logistics Expertise: Proven experience in managing the logistics of large-scale construction materials, including scheduling, inventory control, transportation, and coordination with vendors and suppliers.
