Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral competency) 

Must Have : 

• Strong experience with BMC TrueSight Operations Management installation, Upgrade, integration, Administration, configuration (Especially with version 10.x & later)
• Strong experience in installation of Patrol Agents on Windows, RHEL, AIX, Solaris OS
• Experience in working on knowledge modules like DB, WebSphere, Exchange, Sentry hardware, Sentry monitoring studio etc. along with basic KMs like OS, LOG, URL
• Good to have working knowledge of custom KMs
• Troubleshooting skills to resolve Patrol Agent, TrueSight server component issues
• Strong Experience in Event Management policy Administration, configuration
• Experience in Design & implementation of integration solutions with 3rd party tools for event & performance management
• Experience with TrueSight-Remedy ITSM integration, troubleshooting, enhancements
• Working knowledge of MRLs, custom classes
• Hands-on experience in configuring & designing reports using TSOM Smart reporting, OOTB TrueSight reports
• Experience in Analyzing environment & event data to fine tune & reduce instance, event count
• Ability to review, analyze, fine tune & enhance TrueSight architecture & its components as per growing infrastructure & customer requirements
• Experience with Patrol Central, RT, Console server, PCM components
• Knowledge of Datacenter IT Infrastructure components, Unix, Windows OS, Virtualization

Good to Have  :

• Infrastructure knowledge on Operating system and Database 
• Good communication skills set, Understand and clear communication to the business on impact of major incidents
• Excellent problem analysis skill set
