Key Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning and Delivery:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum for preparatory stage students.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources (e.g., interactive activities, multimedia, games, and projects) to engage students and promote language acquisition.
- Ensure lessons are tailored to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
Instructional Duties:
- Teach English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking.
- Guide students in improving their pronunciation and fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Encourage reading habits and comprehension through structured lessons and assignments.
Classroom Management:
- Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement strategies to maintain student engagement and address behavioral issues as necessary.
Assessment and Feedback:
- Regularly assess students' progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and other assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Track individual and class progress, adjusting teaching strategies when necessary.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure the integration of English across other subjects.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress, challenges, and areas for growth.
- Participate in meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
Resource Management:
- Utilize textbooks, online resources, and supplementary materials to support student learning.
- Adapt and create additional resources to reinforce key language concepts and cater to different learning styles.
Professional Development:
- Stay up to date with the latest teaching strategies, language trends, and educational technology.
- Engage in continuous learning through workshops, seminars, or further academic qualifications to improve teaching practices.
A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Alsun or a related field.Able to start in February 2025 ( Second Term)Proven experience teaching English, preferably at the preparatory or middle school level.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of modern educational tools, technology, and teaching methods.
