The Hardware Partnerships Officer will play a key role in discovering, securing, and managing strategic collaborations with hardware providers and collaborators on both global and regional levels, such as HP, Lenovo, Dell, ViewSonic, Promethean, BenQ, JP-IK, Positivo BGH, and others. This role is integral to Classera’s commitment to innovate and provide impactful educational technology solutions. It aims to enhance brand visibility, augment solution value, and drive the company’s growth into new and existing markets through the resources and programs offered by these partners. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure effective integration and implementation of partnership initiatives while cultivating long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the technology and education sectors.
Core Responsibilities
Partnership Development:
- Identify and evaluate potential global and regional hardware partners that complement the company’s educational technology offerings.
- Assess prospective partners to ensure alignment with Classera’s objectives, user requirements, and market trends.
- Negotiate partnership agreements encompassing collaboration terms, revenue sharing, and intellectual property considerations.
Relationship Management:
- Foster and sustain relationships with current hardware partners to ensure continued collaboration and mutual benefits.
- Serve as the primary liaison for partners, facilitating timely communication, resolving issues, and coordinating project efforts.
- Collaborate with sales, activation, legal, finance, and product teams to manage hardware partnerships from inception to completion.
Project Management, Bundling & Integration:
- Partner with hardware providers to co-create annual strategic plans that align their resources with Classera’s goals.
- Define joint solution packages and spearhead co-marketing initiatives with hardware partners.
- Monitor partnership performance in areas like business development, sales pipelines, product integrations, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to convert opportunities into tangible outcomes, ensuring smooth integration of partner products and services into Classera’s offerings.
Market Research & Strategic Planning:
- Stay informed about trends in the EdTech industry, emerging technologies, and partnership opportunities beneficial to the company.
- Provide strategic insights to leadership regarding potential partnerships and avenues for expansion.
- Assist in crafting partnership strategies to enhance Classera’s product offerings and market position.
Reporting & Metrics:
- Establish and maintain a partner engagement dashboard with well-defined key performance indicators, reviewing it periodically with management for insights and improvements.
- Monitor and analyze partnership performance, focusing on sales pipelines, revenue generation, usage statistics, and user experience impact.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, partnerships, lead generation, or technology management, preferably in EdTech or hardware sectors.
- Proven experience in managing technology/hardware partnerships, including negotiation, integration, and performance oversight.
- Strong comprehension of global and regional trends and dynamics in educational technology markets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at managing relationships with both external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Strong project management capabilities, capable of managing multiple partnerships and projects concurrently.
- Analytical skills for evaluating partnership performance and making data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in Salesforce (or similar CRM tools) as the primary sales management platform.
- Ability to effectively communicate, present, and influence at all organizational levels, including senior management.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities in both English and Arabic.
