Technical writer (Financial Software Documentation)

About the Role:

We seek a Technical Writer with a solid background in accounting to create high-quality documentation for software products, primarily in the financial domain. You will be responsible for writing clear, user-friendly manuals, guides, and other technical documents to help end-users understand and effectively utilize our software.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain comprehensive software documentation, including but not limited to user manuals, quick-start guides, and how-to tutorials...etc.

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and subject matter experts to gain a deep understanding of financial software features.

Simplify complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and well-structured documents targeted at end-users.

Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product releases.

Review and edit existing documents to enhance clarity and readability.

Gather feedback from users and internal teams to continuously improve documentation quality.


Qualifications:Strong background in business, finance, or accounting (degree or relevant experience).Ability to understand financial and accounting concepts and explain them.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Google Docs).Familiarity with financial software, ERP systems, or accounting platforms is a plus.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Preferred to have:Experience with any financial accounting ERP software.Knowledge of professional writing and creating user-centered content.Familiar with software development processes.
