- Design, deploy, and manage network security solutions to safeguard our headquarters and factory environments.
- Configure and maintain FortiGate firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for unusual activities, vulnerabilities, and threats.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network issues.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure integrated network and security across the organization.
- Implement and manage VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security measures.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in network security engineering.Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls is essential.Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.Proficiency in network security best practices and methodologies.Experience with network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, VPN, MPLS, and wireless networking.Strong documentation and reporting skills.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications (Fortinet NSE, CCNA are a must, CCNP is a plus).Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, Wireless Controllers, and FortiGate firewalls.
