Role Overview

Lead the design and evolution of the organization's enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment between business strategy, technology capabilities, and digital transformation initiatives while maintaining a coherent and scalable architectural vision.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Enterprise Architecture Leadership

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and guidelines
  • Create and manage enterprise architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives
  • Define reference architectures and patterns for enterprise solutions
  • Ensure architectural governance across all technology initiatives
  • Guide solution architects and development teams in adherence to architecture standards

 

Strategic Planning & Innovation

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into architectural requirements
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on enterprise architecture
  • Design target state architectures that enable business transformation
  • Create architecture transition plans to guide evolution from current to future states
  • Maintain enterprise architecture repository and documentation

 

Solution Architecture & Integration

  • Review and approve solution architectures for major initiatives
  • Ensure interoperability and integration between systems and platforms
  • Define API strategies and integration patterns
  • Establish microservices architecture guidelines
  • Guide cloud adoption and hybrid architecture strategies

 

Technology Portfolio Management

  • Assess current technology landscape and identify redundancies
  • Create technology rationalization strategies
  • Maintain enterprise application and technology portfolios
  • Develop architecture principles for technology selection
  • Guide legacy modernization initiatives

 

Governance & Standards

  • Establish architecture review board and governance processes
  • Define architecture compliance requirements
  • Create architecture principles and policies
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in architecture decisions
  • Manage technical debt and architectural risks
