Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate MEP design efforts for multiple projects, ensuring design deadlines, quality standards, and project budgets are met.
• Collaborate with architects, civil/structural engineers, and other consultants to integrate MEP systems into building designs.
• Review and approve MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and vendor selections.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior MEP engineers and designers on project tasks and design decisions.
• Participate in design review meetings and client presentations to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ensure all MEP designs comply with local building codes, industry standards, and sustainability goals.
• Conduct risk assessments and quality control checks to ensure the integrity of MEP systems.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, codes, and regulations affecting MEP design.
• Manage the process of obtaining approvals from local authorities and regulatory bodies for MEP designs.
