Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage the project engineering team to deliver mechanical and electrical components of engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Design & Development Oversight: Provide technical guidance on the design, development, and integration of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure alignment of project objectives and seamless execution.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risks or challenges in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to resolve them effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements, while maintaining the highest levels of quality.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and contractors, providing regular updates and addressing any technical concerns or changes to the project scope.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee resource planning and allocation, ensuring the right engineering talent and materials are available to meet project demands.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including design specifications, progress reports, and change orders.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project execution and engineering processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.7+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management or leadership role.Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects from inception through completion.Strong technical expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on integration and system design.
