- Determine the FF&E concept based on interior design scheme.
- Undertake design project from concept to completion.
- Review received plans and redesign if needed to achieve client’s needs and project purpose.
- Create 'mood boards' to execute design concept, ensuring it is compatible with the company and client standards.
- Prepare selection and presentation for artwork and accessories if required.
- Prepare Schemes-Boards including furniture color palette, fabrics, painting and flooring samples.
- Research and Source materials and products included in plans.
- Specifies materials and furnishing such as lighting, art work, carpets, curtains… etc.
- Present the whole project content to the technical office in order to prepare the BOQ after getting the project’s manager approval.
- Develop FF&E specification documentation.
- Review the inventory list for the project items before releasing purchasing order.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to release orders & attend the purchase process for the main items if needed in order to guarantee purchases & selection criteria are met.
- Responsible for receiving all the project’s items from suppliers and guarantee the level of quality.
- Responsible for attending site furnishing & installation or reinstallation in all phases for all his/her projects.
- Update the FF&E library with the latest trends, materials & catalogs in coordination with the consultant.
- Ensuring the team have a good understanding of their allocated project (client brief, existing drawings, architectural context, timeline etc).
- Mentoring and monitoring the team of junior designers
- Work closely with designers, vendors, architects and constructors to ensure the proper coordination to overcome any sudden problem.
- Able to respond effectively to complex questions during working and switching between various projects
- Participate in presentations meetings as needed.
- Complete competency in the full FF&E design and procurement process.
- Responsible for attending & Supervising all phases of site furnishing & installation for all his/her projects.
- Receiving project Statues Report from the team members on regular basis.
- Present weekly report to the Project Manager with full work done during the week.
